A collaborative filmmaking concept where storytellers and audiences explore alternate cuts, community worldbuilding, and distributed film production.
The problem
Traditional film production is bottlenecked by gatekept studio distribution models. Creative communities and passionate audiences are relegated to passive consumers, even when their collective editorial and artistic talent matches Hollywood productions.
The approach
FanCut enables modular, branching film narratives. Creators publish baseline stems, narrative scenes, and sound assets; fans and independent editors can construct, vote on, and canonize community cuts through transparent attribution protocols.
