I taught myself to navigate the court system over more than fifteen years. That experience shaped the nonprofit I founded, Just Liberty, and its main software platform, JustLegal.
I built the platform around practical work: finding a form, preparing a document, managing PDFs, and keeping a case organized. It brings my technical work and my commitment to public service together.

Definition
The main software platform I built through my nonprofit, Just Liberty Incorporated, bringing legal-help navigation, document tools, court forms, and private case workspaces together.
The problem
People representing themselves have to learn court procedures while organizing records, preparing documents, and finding relevant forms. I know from my own years in the court system how much work can fall on one person.
The approach
I founded Just Liberty and built JustLegal to make that work easier to organize. The platform brings practical tools and public resources into one place, so a person can spend less effort finding and managing the basics of their case.
How it works
- Find legal-help resources and navigate court-form collections.
- Prepare documents and work with PDFs using the public tools directory.
- Organize case information, documents, and evidence in a private workspace.
- Publish a dated registry describing the form inventory and mirrored files.
