The problem

Electoral decision-making is clouded by multimillion-dollar marketing campaigns, opaque PAC contributions, and tribal party branding. Voters lack intuitive mechanisms to inspect how candidates actually vote and who finances their campaigns.

The approach

VoteReady aggregates raw public records—including congressional roll call votes, FEC contribution ledgers, and enacted statutes—into an objective questionnaire. Citizens answer simple policy queries and receive an unbiased alignment percentage against every candidate on their ballot.

How it works

1. FEC Dataset Parsing: Automatically ingests and categorizes federal political campaign contributions by industry and PAC.
2. Roll Call Scorecards: Correlates legislative votes against stated campaign platforms to measure ideological fidelity.
3. Local District Geo-Mapping: Matches street-level location to municipal, state, and congressional electoral boundaries.
4. Zero-Tracking Ballot Privacy: Processes voter preferences purely client-side without storing political profiles on servers.
